Corn Comments 4.7 – Woster’s fuel of choice?

In case you were wondering, Jim Woster’s ’98 Buick is still running after 350,000 miles, and his fuel of choice? South Dakota ethanol of course.

Speaking of ethanol, did you know that corn used for ethanol produces both clean-burning fuel and high-protein livestock feed. It’s called distillers grain and it is heavily demanded by livestock feeders in South Dakota and around the world.

Since we are on the subject of livestock, it would be appropriate to mention this summer’s South Dakota Cattlemen’s Prime Time Gala, an event to promote South Dakota beef and raise money for Feeding South Dakota. The event will also feature music by Gary Allen. You can learn more about this event by visiting the website,
